Our Story

Our story begins in a kitchen—just like his did. Long before this cottage bakery ever came to life, there was my grandfather, moving slowly and intentionally through his days, teaching us that the most meaningful moments aren’t rushed. They’re baked into the quiet hours, shared across tables, and felt in the warmth of being together.

He believed food was more than nourishment—it was connection. A reason to gather, to pause, to stay a little longer. Some of my most cherished memories are rooted in that simple truth: the smell of something fresh in the oven, conversations that stretched on without notice, and the feeling that time, somehow, had softened just for us.

When I began this cottage bakery, I knew it had to carry his name. Not just as a tribute, but as a continuation of everything he stood for. Every loaf, every pastry, every small batch we create is made with that same intention—to bring people together, to create space for connection, and to remind us all to slow down.

You’ll find thyme woven into our logo, a small but deeply meaningful detail. It’s a symbol of time—something my grandfather treasured above all else. In a fast-moving world, it’s our gentle reminder to pause, to savor, and to make time for the people who matter most.
